For teenagers aged 12–16 who have been affected by war: children of military personnel, veterans, from liberated and frontline areas, from large families and foster families, orphans, and those returned from deportation. Participation, accommodation, and meals are free.

The National Democratic Institute invites active women to participate in the Women's Leadership Academy — a unique learning program designed to strengthen leadership skills, deepen knowledge, and prepare participants for decision-making processes and building political careers. The program is open to activists, veterans, volunteers, internally displaced women, and other active women.

Usually children of combat participants, of people disabled as a result of the war, of those missing in action or held captive, and of those who did not come home. The exact list depends on the programme and is always stated in the organiser’s conditions.
The state allocates funds every year to cover tuition for children of defenders in vocational and higher education, alongside subsidised study loans, free textbooks and a place in a dormitory. The terms are set by the Cabinet of Ministers for each academic year, so check the current rules with the institution’s admissions office.
Yes. Children of protected categories, including children of defenders, are entitled to free places under the state recovery programme, and charities fund part of the camps. State places are arranged through the local children’s services department.
