Monthly financial assistance of UAH 5,000 for orphaned children and children without parental care whose families lost defenders of Ukraine. Available to children up to 18 years old living in government-controlled areas of Zaporizhzhia region. Payments begin from June 2026. An application is submitted by the child's legal guardian to the citizen services office.

Who is eligible
- Orphaned children and children without parental care
- Family members of fallen Ukrainian defenders
- Age: up to 18 years old
- Place of residence: government-controlled areas of Zaporizhzhia region
How to apply
Application is submitted by the child's legal guardian (custodian or carer) to the citizen services office of the Social Support Department at their place of residence
Required documents
- Passport of the legal guardian and child's passport (if the child is 14 or older)
- Registration numbers of taxpayer identification cards
- Documents confirming guardianship
- Certificate confirming family member status of a fallen defender
- If applicable: internally displaced person certificate
- Bank account details of the guardian
Terms and conditions
- Payment is transferred monthly to the legal guardian's bank account
- If a family has several children who meet the criteria, payment is allocated for each child
- Processing takes less than a week; funds are received in the same month
