Good to know
Eligibility often depends on the family’s status in the country — temporary protection, place of residence or the child’s school — so check it on the organiser’s page. The language of classes varies: the local language, Ukrainian, or both. Poland and Germany get their own page once the country has at least three open opportunities; other countries are listed here under the country’s name.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from “Going abroad”?
“Going abroad” is for children travelling from Ukraine: exchanges, scholarships, olympiads and camps that involve a trip. This collection is for those who already live in another country: classes and camps that local organisers open to Ukrainian children, Ukrainian Saturday schools, help with language and school.
Which opportunities are included?
Those that take place outside Ukraine and are addressed directly to children from Ukraine who live there: children of refugees and families with temporary protection, newly arrived pupils, pupils of Ukrainian Saturday schools. Exchanges, volunteering and programmes that involve leaving Ukraine are not included — they are in “Going abroad”.
