Frequently asked questions

Who can get a free place at a children’s camp?

Priority categories first: displaced children, children of veterans and of the fallen, children with disabilities, and children from low-income or large families. For them the state pays in full. Separately, foundations and charities run free camps that are often open to everyone.

How do we apply for a state-funded place?

Through the social protection office where the family is registered, or through municipal service portals such as the one in Kyiv. Apply early — places are allocated in order of application.

When should we start looking for a summer camp?

Between February and May, when most summer intakes open. By the summer itself mostly last places remain, and state-funded places have already been allocated.
