Good to know
Eligibility often depends on the family’s status in Poland — temporary protection, place of residence or the child’s school — so check it on the organiser’s page. The language of classes varies: the local language, Ukrainian, or both.
School in the country
From 1 September 2026, pupils from Ukraine in Poland are taught under the general rules for foreign pupils. Schools provide free extra Polish lessons — at least 2 hours a week for up to 24 months — and catch-up classes for up to 12 months; a school may open a preparatory class and employ an intercultural assistant.

How is this different from “Going abroad”?
“Going abroad” is for children travelling from Ukraine: exchanges, scholarships, olympiads and camps that involve a trip. This collection is for those who already live in another country: classes and camps that local organisers open to Ukrainian children, Ukrainian Saturday schools, help with language and school.
