UNICEF provides multipurpose cash assistance to families affected by unforeseen challenges related to the conflict, including missile strikes and mandatory evacuation from frontline territories.

How families are identified. Families can be identified in cooperation with local authorities. After that, UNICEF and its partners assess whether the family meets the assistance criteria. Each household member who meets the criteria receives UAH 12,300.

Important to understand: not every family affected by an attack or evacuation will receive assistance from UNICEF—funding is limited. Other humanitarian organizations may also provide support.

Be careful of scams. UNICEF does not register families for assistance programs through social media or online. Hotline: 0 800 600 017, Monday–Friday 9:00–17:00.
