Education and Participation Package (Bildung und Teilhabe, BuT) for Ukrainian Children in Germany
State material assistance for education and participation in social and cultural life for Ukrainian children living in Germany with temporary protection. Covers support for music lessons, extracurricular tutoring, sports and cultural activities. Provided through local employment centres and social welfare authorities in Germany.

What is covered
The programme covers expenses for:
- Extracurricular tutoring (Nachhilfe)
- Music lessons (Musikunterricht)
- Participation in sports and cultural activities
- Purchase of learning materials and equipment
Eligibility conditions
Children are entitled to this assistance if the family receives:
- Bürgergeld (from Jobcenter) or
- Sozialhilfe (from local social welfare authority)
As a condition — possession of a residence permit under § 24 Aufenthaltsgesetz (temporary protection) or a certificate of application from migration authorities.
