Vocal Singing Lessons
A vocal course for children run by the Ukrainian Crisis Centre in Ireland. Children develop their musical potential, learn proper singing technique, study music theory and repertoire. Classes are held weekly in person in Dublin.

Course programme
- Introduction: what vocal art is, meeting the teacher and students
- The voice apparatus: studying the structure of the vocal apparatus, mechanisms of sound production
- Types of vocal voices: classification of male, female and children's voices
- Vocal range: determining range, vocal exercises to expand capabilities
- Vocal breathing: learning about the diaphragm and its proper use while singing
- Warm-up exercises: vocalises for proper sound production
- Musical language: major and minor keys, intonation, tempo
- Musical timbres: introduction to timbres of wind instruments, string instruments and traditional instruments (sopilka, tsymbaly)
- Repertoire: introduction to and work with repertoire
