Ukrainian Saturday School "Barvinok" (Scuola ucraina "Barvinok") was founded in 2014 in Italy. The school is recognized as part of the Ukrainian component of education.
Curriculum
Teaching follows the Ukrainian studies curriculum in accordance with modified programmes recommended by Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science.
At primary level, students study: Ukrainian language and reading, Ukrainian as a second language.
At lower secondary level: Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine, geography of Ukraine.
Learning outcomes in individual subjects of the Ukrainian studies component are officially recognized and credited by educational institutions in Ukraine (Protocol No. 3 dated 27 October 2025).
