Sony World Photography Awards — Youth
A global photography competition for young photographers aged 19 and under. Organized by the World Photography Organisation. Participants can submit up to three photographs on a designated theme. The winner receives Sony Digital Imaging equipment, tickets and accommodation for the awards ceremony in London, inclusion in the exhibition and annual book. Participation is free.

Eligibility
The competition is open to photographers aged 19 and under at the time the competition closes.
How to enter
- Upload your photograph to the World Photography Organisation website (www.worldphoto.org) or the official Sony World Photography Awards website
- Each participant can submit up to three photographs for free
- Photographs must match the announced theme
- Photographs must have been taken in 2026
Photo requirements
- File size: minimum 1 MB, maximum 5 MB
- Format: JPEG
- Colour model: sRGB
- High resolution: minimum 5 MB, 300 pixels per inch
- Photographs may include editing, but any editing must be described when submitting
Prizes
Winner: Sony Digital Imaging equipment, tickets and accommodation to London for the awards ceremony, certificate, trophy, global press coverage, copy of the annual book, inclusion in the exhibition and website
Shortlist (up to 9 photographers): certificate, copy of the book, inclusion in the exhibition, promotion on the website and online community
Judging
- The jury will select a shortlist of up to 10 photographs
- The shortlist will compete for the title of Youth Competition Winner
- The jury's decision is final
