Choir Program
Training in the senior choir club is designed to develop students' voices and musical abilities. The vocal teaching method allows the voice to develop in children, even those without obvious vocal talent from the start.
Learning Structure
The choir works with three mixed-age groups: junior choir, middle choir, and senior choir. Additional clubs serve all age groups:
- Piano club (led by Larisa Shchebrenko): piano playing skills, work with sheet music, accompaniment, improvisation.
- Solfège club (led by Larisa Shchebrenko): music theory, music literacy, development of ear and memory, rhythmic sense, solfège skills.
- Solo singing club (led by Oryna Bredikhlna): development of technical and performance abilities, voice placement, creation of vocal and stage presence.
Repertoire and Directions
The ensemble performs classical and sacred music, folk song arrangements, and contemporary choral compositions. The choir collaborates with composers from the Kharkiv region and premieres new works.
Directors
The senior choir is led by Yuliia Ivanova and Alina Tkachenko.
