Participants will take part in discussions, analysis of candidates, and voting on winners. The event will take place in Normandy, France, from February 14–20, 2027. All travel, accommodation, meals, and visa costs are covered by the organizers. Working languages: English or French.

Programme
- Work on an international jury of 24 participants
- Analyse candidates—individuals and organizations working for freedom
- Discussions, research, and teamwork
- Select 3 finalists for the Freedom Prize 2027
- Online preparation meetings before the trip
- International experience in human rights and civic engagement
Requirements for participants
- Young people aged 15–25 from any country (candidates must be aged 15–25 as of February 19, 2027)
- Fluent English or French (written and spoken)
- Young people with any background of education, professional or personal experience
- No prior experience necessary
- Individuals who were jury members for the Freedom Prize in previous years cannot participate again
Funding
- All travel costs are covered
- Accommodation and meals are covered
- Visa costs are covered
Application
You will need to submit:
- An online questionnaire
- A description of your motivation
- Your CV
- A separate "Our Freedom Prize 2027" form where you nominate a person or organization working for freedom
- Confirmation of availability for February 14–20, 2027
The winner of the Freedom Prize 2027 will receive €25,000 to support their work (this sum is awarded to the prize recipient, not to jury members).
