Immerse Education Essay Competition 2027
International essay competition for ages 13–18. Winners receive 100% scholarships to Immerse summer schools in Oxford, Cambridge, London, Sydney, and New York. Participants write a 500-word academic essay on one of 20+ topics across subjects including artificial intelligence, fashion and design, mathematics, engineering, philosophy, law, and more. How to Participate
Participants write a 500-word academic essay on one of the proposed topics (or a question of their own choosing from the Open Questions list). Over 20 topics are available across disciplines including artificial intelligence, fashion and design, mathematics, engineering, philosophy, law, and others.
Entry Requirements
Any child aged 13–18 from anywhere in the world can participate. Entry is completely free. When registering, you can use the promo code EARLY1000 to receive additional benefits.
Prizes
- Winners (10 per year): 100% scholarship for any Immerse course, including summer schools in Oxford, Cambridge, London, Sydney, New York, Singapore, Tokyo, and Toronto;
- Finalists (150+ per year): partial scholarships up to 75%;
- Participation prizes: certificate and recognition of your potential.
Judging
Essays are assessed by experts and judges based on content, quality of research, critical analysis, structure, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary. Age of participant is taken into account.

Upon registration, participants receive access to free materials and live webinars from academics to help improve your writing and conduct research.
