Format and Program
The competition consists of a series of math problems that participants solve individually within 90 minutes.
Categories by level:
- C1: students in grades 1–2 of lower secondary school (ages 11–12)
- C2: students in grade 3 of lower secondary school and grade 1 of upper secondary school (ages 13–14)
- L1: students in grades 2–3 of upper secondary school (ages 15–16)
- L1 PLUS: students in grades 4–5 of upper secondary school (ages 17–18)
Organization
The competition is conducted under the supervision of a designated contact person at each school, held within individual classes or in a specially prepared room. The main competition date is Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Schools facing organizational difficulties may arrange an alternative date (no earlier than November 10) with B4Math.
Registration and Materials
Registration is conducted through an online form (FORM di ISCRIZIONE) until Monday, October 19, 2026. Competition texts and answer sheets are sent to the designated contact person from November 5, 2026. Teachers receive a summary of solutions and a detailed commented guide for classroom discussion.
Results
After checking the work, the designated contact person sends B4Math an Excel file with rankings for each category.
